It looks like this darling is my last finish of 2019, last finish of the decade, too!
And really, that is fine with me!
It was with great excitement that my family and I received the news early this Summer that my cousin and her husband were expecting a baby! They have tried for years, and had gotten to the point where they had resigned themselves to a life without a child. They were at peace with that.
I am elated for them!
Little Henry Lewis was born last week, healthy and right on time!
It was a joy to make this for Maria and Jason!
And I can't think of a better quilt to ring out the decade with!
Praise the Lord for new life! Congratulations to the entire family! We too learned we are expecting our first. We were fortunate to only have to wait a year. Precious quilt too!!
