Easy As...123

1.  Tape off a 4 inch square. Give it 2 coats of exterior base color.
2.  Draft a simple quilt block with pencil and straight edge. Tape off where you do not want color, using painters tape and a razor blade.
3.  Paint with exterior color. One or two coats, your choice.
4.  When paint is dry, remove tape. Voila! Done and ready to hang!

Totally and completely awesome idea Sarah! Now you can say your barn quilts are for the birds. LOL

Very awesome! I like the way you used masking tape so effectively. :)

Sarah, I had not seen this post before! I love it. We have so many birdhouses and bird feeders in our yard. I want to add this to the collection. Thanks for the inspiration!! So darn cute. :-)
