Orange Overload, revisited

I reel a bit to think that I was going to sit this one out!
All of a sudden I realize there are several of my favorite quilts that have never seen the light of
There is no linky party quite like this linky party!

Our last year in Indiana (2013) I met a good friend. And then moved away.
We love orange together. And she really needed a quilt!
As much as I love orange, my stash of it was just beginning to form
This quilt used most of it, in the most wonderful way!
I also included some much loved "Garden Party", by Jane Dixon
I am confident most of you fellow fabriholics recognize most of the others!
Up to this time, I had never quilted such a big quilt on my machine!
I used the "Patchwork Chevron" tutorial of Jeni's @ In Color Order
I found a cozy critter flannel at Joanns for the back. Terri loves critters :)
A scrappy binding, my favorite kind.

Honestly, I do not remember the exact size of this, but it's big!

 Mmmm, orange overload!

She came to Montana for Thanksgiving, so I got to give it to her in person, with a hug!

This is my entry in the Large Quilt category

My orange stash is recuperating nicely too, by the way :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

I love the photo of Terri enjoying her quilt! The oranges with a pop of blue work so well with the white. Your quilting is just right for this quilt too. Another great finish.
