Sew Much Fun!

First, a "stash flash"....
Curiosities, by Jeni Baker was released on my 30th anniversary :)

At least some of it had to be bought!
I already had the token "Dreamin Vintage" piece

This 6 piece bundle, from Sew Modern was shortly supplemented by the navy piece and a piece of my favorite from Geometric Bliss from the Fat Quarter Shop...they missed me ;)

It feels good to have finally "scratched that itch" :)

Secondly, this oasis in Central Montana :) They dip ice cream and have fabric and notions! (oh yeah, and groceries and hardware...) Seriously, jelly rolls of Tula Pink Moonshine, Mettler Threads,
and Wonder Clips!
I feel so on trend!

Well, here is Esther, the proprietress of the aforementioned oasis...
Wait! What?
Yep, that's right, she (and Pam!) invited me to the once-monthly sewing day at the fire house in Roy, MT!!!!
Meet Brenda!

and Marsha, Clara and Pam, and Brenda!
So, yeah, I've been to a sew day!!!!
Yes, it was awesome, and the ladies were friendly and very welcoming!
Everyone brought a few projects for "show and tell"...so many pretties!
Brenda brought dessert, too :)
This is what I did while I was there...
July Simply Sawtooth Stars
Then, there was this "play thing" I made sometime last year. No plan for it, not a clue...I was just playing.
Well it has a new home to go to, a new and high purpose to fulfill!
A virtual friend of ours...since maybe 1998...his wee beautiful daughter turned 3 a week or so ago, and received a wonderful wooden doll house for her birthday!

I saw the picture on FaceBook, and when I rummaged around in my tubs, knowing she needed a quilt for her dollhouse, I came across the little hourglass...and, well you know the rest of that story! I put it together, including the little pillow while I fixed supper that night!
I love that it was the perfect size and scale for a real doll quilt :)
Talk about a change of pace, after Terri's large quilt!

Have a wonderful week and weekend!

Sarah you sure have been having a ball! Love the wee little dollhouse quilt, as your friend's little girl must too. Fabrics and friends and ice cream all in one place? Does it get any better? LOL
Happy 30th a little late!
