Top of the list: My Mom came for a visit last week!!!!
with her favorite tour guides :)
She loves a good porch :) (but could certainly use a more comfortable chair!)
and a good game or two with her grandson!
Look at her beautiful self!!
We had a super fun and relaxed week just catching up and being here together!
The day we took her back to Billings, she and I wandered an antique mall, where I saw this wonderful quilt....

I love the fabrics which appeared very stable, the whites were quite discolored but not from use so much as from poor storage? Binding was all intact, no fraying. I have since learned that a gentle washing and bright sunshine do wonders for old quilts... I may need to go back for it....
After my Mother's departure, I was able to finish up the quilt top for Terri....

I wonder if you are done basting and quilting?!?!? Glad you had a good visit with your mom and I think you need to go back for the quilt!!!!!
I was thinking, gee that looks so much like southern Alberta...and found on your profile it's Montana! Ha, not far at all from my home province. My mum was just down here (we now live in southern Ontario) visiting in May. So good to have mum/mom times right? Your new WIP is beautiful, and that antique quilt top...it's calling you!

My parents were just here too!! Its so fun huh!! Today was the first day after three weeks of NOT being with family...so got busy in the sewing room too. Have fun quilting!!
