Icy Parfait Pillow!

The time came. It had to be made.
Something, anything, with icy, sea glassy colors.
For inspiration, thanks, most recently to Rachael, Karen and Pam....

Scraps, charm squares, pieces of osnaburg, it took about all I had!

But I got a cushion cover put together.

I used my presser foot as a guide for all the quilting lines. Icy blue thread, Coats and Clark.

The sizes of the scraps of osnaburg that I had determined the final dimensions....I just pieced them together until I had a suitable background. It ended up at 26" x 13".

A couple of recent purchases came in handy for the envelope back. The gray is a Michael Miller print, and the pink is, of course, Lotta Jansdotter, from her Glimma collection. I use Amanda Jean's method here.

I don't have a pillow form made yet, so I just stuffed a couple rolls of batting in for the pictures.

I can rest easy now, for a bit.

It has been awhile, but linking up with CrazyMomQuilts Finish It Up Friday :)
Yay! I love when I can do that :)
