Don't Quilt and Drive!

I've got my Crush on this week!
Last week, I shared my humble little paper quilt block...
Today I am sooo pleased to share two images of my inspiration.
The following images are courtesy of the artist, Martha Bladen, of Switzerland County, Indiana.
They are 2 from a series of more than 30, with the same title:
Don't Quilt and Drive

Aren't they wonderful?
I sought Martha out on Facebook, and she kindly supplied these images.
Maybe I can persuade her to tell us a little more about these, and her process...
that would be fun!

Martha's paper quilts can stop traffic - they are so cool Sarah! I wonder if that is where the title came from? It would be a lot of fun to hear about her process. And one of the fabric companies needs to make fabric like this. :)

Who says you can't quilt and drive? Well, at least not with a machine, anyway.

Are these made of paper? Such a neat idea... just might have to put this on my to-do list!

These are really great pieces. I can see how you were tempted to make some paper blocks too. Especially after your finds at the grocery store! Thanks so much for sharing your inspiration!

Such fun "quilts". I was trying to figure out where she got all of her fabric when I read the comments. Very cool.
